ENGRAVING & ARTWORK SPECIFICATIONS

ENGRAVING COPY:
To avoid errors and give better service, we will not process orders that are not clear and legible. To avoid mistakes, wording and list of names, etc., should be typed on a computer using MSWord, Illustrator or Corel Draw, using Arial or Times type face.

Hand written copy must be printed with block letters or neatly written and must be proofed and accepted by our salesperson.

Check spelling and punctuation - mistakes are your responsibility. Do not layout copy or choose type styles. We do this to fit space available & to accommodate the type of engraving and our user licenses.

ARTWORK INFORMATION:
Our finished products are only as good as the artwork you provide. Faxed artwork, web graphics or hand drawings are not acceptable. We cannot use Mac Photoshop or Quark files. Our artwork charge is $10.00 for 15 minutes quoted in advance. Your artwork may be provided as printed copy - 600 dpi minimum, on disk or emailed to sales@unitedtrophy.com and please be sure that 'UTM' is in the subject line.

ACCEPTABLE ARTWORK:
Must be PC version - minimum 300 dpi - on vector files, convert text to curves or paths.

Include true type fonts if changes are to be made by us.

PREFERRED PROGRAMS:
Corel Draw Versions 7-9
Photoshop PC Version 6.0 or lower
Illustrator PC Version 9 or lower
Include all vector or tif files used for the job. Give PMS Colors when assigning process or spot colors.

SUBMITTING COPY:
Copy and art may be provided by email to sales@unitedtrophy.com (and please be sure that 'UTM' is in the subject line.) or on IBM/DOS formatted 3.5" diskettes - Iomega Zip 100MG or CD Rom disks. ALWAYS GIVE your name, phone number, fax number and invoice number if known and presentation date. It is good policy to fax copy of art sent by mail or email or call to confirm our receipt - (407) 841-2525 x132 - Fax # (407) 423-55-12. Do NOT send original file - make a copy.
